I started climbing roofs at just eight years old, spending summers learning the roofing trade alongside my father. At the time, I never imagined that those early days would shape a lifelong career—but more than two decades later, roofing isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am.

My name is German Duarte (pronounced with an “H” sound). I was raised in South Florida and attended Florida International University in Miami. While I was in school, my father, Justo Duarte, was already working on roofing projects throughout Central Florida, building a reputation for hard work and integrity.

From the beginning, I knew I wanted to own my own business. Instead of taking shortcuts, I focused on doing things the right way—researching licensing requirements, studying for exams, and working hands-on in the field alongside my father. In late 2001, I passed both state roofing exams, and in April 2002, Florida Quality Roofing was officially incorporated.

A Family-Driven Roofing Company Since 2002

For the first several years, my father and I worked side by side. He managed production in the field while I handled sales, operations, and administration. Although he officially retired in 2005, he still lends his experience and insight when needed.

Today, more than 23 years later, I’m proud to serve as Owner and President of what I confidently believe is one of the most reliable roofing companies in Florida.

Our strength lies in our people. I’m fortunate to work alongside my sister, my cousin, and a team of skilled professionals who have been with us for so long they feel like family. Their loyalty, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are the foundation of our success.
